StockPoint Research Team

The research and editorial team behind the StockPoint blog, writing for owners and operations managers of commercial cleaning, security, construction, and facilities-maintenance companies.

How we work

Every article starts from live research: what operators are actually asking in industry communities, what currently ranks for the question, and what the primary sources say. Legal and compliance claims are anchored to statutes, regulations, agency guidance, and court opinions — not to other blogs — and stated with their real qualifications intact. Worked examples with dollar figures are always labeled as hypothetical, with the arithmetic shown so you can rerun it with your own numbers.

We build StockPoint, an operations platform for field-service companies, and we say so plainly when it is relevant. Articles are written to be useful whether or not you ever use the product, and nothing on this blog is legal, tax, or accounting advice — for classification, wage, and compliance decisions, the final call belongs to your attorney or accountant.

Corrections

If something in an article is wrong or has gone stale, we want to fix it. Reach us through the contact options on getstockpoint.com and we will review and update the piece, with the last-updated date reflecting the change.
